Under Utah state law every company is required to designate a registered agent with a physical address where your company can be reached during normal business hours to receive on behalf of the company, service of process (SOP), legal notices, annual renewals or other important notices or documents from the Utah Department of Commerce or in the event of a lawsuit, garnishment or other legal notification.
